UV Exposure and Sun Damage

Our service staff has decades of experience dealing with the most common killer of sails, UV damage from sun exposure. Regular maintenance is required to keep your sails free of life-shortening UV deterioration. We check the stitching to make sure it is free of UV damage, restitch suncovers where needed, and repair or reinforce weakened areas. We can also repair or replace all or part of your current suncover with a variety of UV-resistant materials to ensure your sailcloth remains protected from the sun.
