Super Sailmakers, the largest service loft in the Southeast U.S., employs full-time sailmakers capable of providing many different levels of sail service when needed. The team has repaired every category of damage on almost every kind of sail afloat, from sunburned beach cats shipped in from all over the country, to the largest sails ever repaired, off the 210' Felicita West, to some of the fastest in the world on the Open 60 Trimaran Team Ocean. Despite the exotic stuff, we specialize in little sails, and service hundreds of small sails sent to us from across the U.S. and Caribbean every year.

A Stitch in Time Saves Money

We can examine your sails before there's a problem, or after. Super service personnel detect and protect against chafe from spreaders, bow pulpits, and shrouds. We identify flex points where repeated folding of the sail in the same place, either when doused or reefed, is weakening the fabric and threatening the integrity of the sail. Areas weakened from sun damage or flogging can often be reinforced to resist tearing. Experienced care can prevent problems and save you money in the long run.
